It is also within easy driving distance of Lahinch with it's world famous championship links golf course and wonderful sandy beach which is ideal both for swimming and water sports.

This is also an ideal base for touring the Burren and visiting the Burren Interpretive Centre in Kilfenora. Also within easy driving distance are the Aillwee Caves in Ballyvaughan and trips to the Aran Islands and the base of the Cliffs of Moher from Doolin pier.
